I think its not the talent but the perseverance to learn. It's really hard at first but you'll get better at it once you accepted all the mistakes that will push you to perfection in skill. So~ just keep on practicing^^. You're not alone cuz I'm also struggling in painting too...sometimes i wish i have some formal art lesson but I realized it's mostly self learning and keen observation to life. And lastly, we should all strive to be different because we are denying our own art if we keep on copying other people's art. I know we can't escape admiring other people's art and copy them (like I do when I was a beginner) but it's an amazing experience to create your own art. We are all creatives and that's the interesting part of being an artist.
